This course is for those who hold the AAT Diploma Level 3 or an equivalent industry qualification.
There are five units comprising of Financial Statements for Limited Companies, Management Accounting: Decision and Control, Management Accounting: Budgeting, Personal Taxation and Business Taxation.
All learners will need to be registered with AAT. Key course material will need to be purchased via the College’s online store. Any exam resits will have to be paid for by the student.
Assessment against the standards of competence takes place through either a computer-based test, marked online by the computer, or, as in the case of the report, a computer-based assessment, marked by College staff.
All computer based exams will take place on a Friday following the delivery of each module of study. In addition to the individual modular exams there will be a synoptic exam covering the first three topics as well as Accounting Systems & Controls, which will be sat at the end of the course.
Completion of the Diploma Level 4 gives students the opportunity to move to another provider and study for the Chartered, Certified or Management Accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), as well as the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT).

I found the entire experience of studying my Level 2 course really rewarding, that I decided to further my knowledge by completing a Level 3 course. I’m continually learning new skills and it’s really helping my professional development in the workplace.
