Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets Introduction (Workshop) - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Course Overview

This course would be of interest to those who are interested in learning how to use Microsoft Excel and perhaps have not used it before or have limited skills and would like to learn to make more effective spreadsheets.

The course coversthe basics feature and functions in Excel, including:

  • Storage and retrieval
  • Analysis and interpretation of data
  • Presenting information
  • Charts
  • Reviewing and printing.

Assessment Methods

There is an exam to sit within the College, and students get plenty of practice to ensure they are ready.

Progression Options

Many leaners have built so much confidence that they progress to other courses to enhance the qualification they have already gained – often electing to enrol on ECDL Essentials at Level 1, enabling them to work towards another employer recognised qualification.
