Course Overview

This course is for anyone interested in trying something creative and exploring drawing and the opportunities this can produce.

The course will focus on drawing still life and objects, exploring different techniques and mark making possibilities.

The learner will have access to materials and expertise to fully explore the capabilities of drawing over the 10 week course.

Assessment Methods

You will be given feedback each week on each activity to help develop techniques and develop experimentation.

Progression Options

This course is designed as an introduction and those wanting to progress can do so onto the next course at the next level – Drawing for Improvers.

An apprenticeship has been the best option for me since I benefit from working in the industry as well as gaining a qualification. College days give me time to work on my assignments and explore features in the software I haven’t covered at work. During the rest of the week, I develop client relationships which help build my confidence and improve my ability to express ideas.
