Course Overview

This course is for those who are keen to progress with their drawing and sketching skills and looking for an opportunity to draw weekly. Sessions help artists develop confidence and conviction in their own style and provide opportunities to practice very specific skills.

This course provides a space where learners are able to stretch and challenge themselves and explore their own style in a supportive, creative and hugely enjoyable environment.

This course will help you to improve your drawing techniques and encourage experimentation using charcoals, pencils, graphites, rubbers and other tools. The course will include at least one life model session.

Everything you need will be provided.

Progression Options

We offer a range of evening, afternoon and day long drawing and painting courses across both Bridgwater, Taunton and Cannington campuses as well as accredited full time options (Access and Degree).

An apprenticeship has been the best option for me since I benefit from working in the industry as well as gaining a qualification. College days give me time to work on my assignments and explore features in the software I haven’t covered at work. During the rest of the week, I develop client relationships which help build my confidence and improve my ability to express ideas.
