IMI Assessed Outcome Module (AOM) ATA Senior MET - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Course Overview

The ATA Senior MET AOM route is intended for technicians looking to achieve reaccreditation, whose job role involves the repair of vehicles typically involved in accidents or similar incidents.

To satisfy the requirements of reaccreditation, technicians must already hold an NVQ Level 3 or ATA card in the same discipline, which has been achieved in the last three years.

Assessment Methods

This level requires the technician to complete the following modules:

  • SRS – scan tools
  • MET – complex
  • Vehicle electrical complex fault
  • Four wheel alignment – interpretation of data

Progression Options

One of our other body repair related short courses such as:

  • BSI welding accreditation
  • High strength steel awareness
  • Introduction to vehicle electrics
  • Four wheel steering geometry
