Course Overview

All MOT testers are required by the DVSA to undertake a minimum of three hours’ MOT annual training to remain up-to-date with best practice methods. All testers must also complete an MOT annual assessment, based on this learning to maintain their professional status.

The DVSA will outline the mandatory elements that you will be required to cover in their annual training syllabus. Learners must complete and record at least three hours training per year.

Bridgwater and Taunton College has a very successful history in the delivery of high quality automotive programmes to employers. This course will help support those who are required to undertake annual training and assessment. It will also be of benefit for those who have limited I.T access at home or work and require extra support.

Assessment Methods

The annual assessment will consist of 30 multiple choice questions. Questions will range from newly issued MOT special notices and MOT inspection standards and procedures.
