Computerised Book-Keeping (SAGE) Award Level 1 - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Course Overview

This course is for those wishing to learn to use Sage Accounting software and considering providing a service as a bookkeeper.

Learners will set up a simple company, carry out basic computerised bookkeeping routines, deal with relevant documentation, process payments and receipts, carry out bank reconciliations, produce customer reports and print reports.

Key course material will need to be purchased via the College’s online store. Any exam resits will have to be paid for by the student.

Assessment Methods

Assessment takes place in January of each academic year, via an external examination set by the IAB.

Progression Options

On successful completion, students can progress to the Computerised Bookeeping SAGE Level 2.
