This course is suitable for those with some previous experience of creating sugarcraft flowers and are looking to learn more. This course will concentrate on the creation of three very different types of flower, foliage and working them into a modern arrangement. This course is suitable for those with some experience of making sugarcraft flowers and cake decoration techniques looking to extend their skills further. This course is run by an experienced sugarcraft tutor and professional wedding cake designer. The course cost includes most of the the cutters, tape, wires and tools you will need to carry on at home. Over the 9 weeks course you will create a stunning display of Bougainvillea, Heirloom Roses, Butterfly Ranunculus sugar flowers with lots of foliage. You will learn how to arrange your flowers creating a beautiful and modern bouquet which will be displayed in a vase. You will need to provide some Squires Kitchen florist paste and a small number of cutters and veiners but the other cutters, tools, wires, dusts and tape required will be provided. Learners will also need to provide Squires Kitchen florist paste and the following if you havent already got them: Rose Petal cutters and veiners of various sizes, two half sphere formers of different sizes and a Dresden tool.
The tutor will provide demonstrations and feedback to ensure you know how to accomplish each stage of the process and give you ample time in which to do it.

We work in the Quantock Restaurant which offers a range of services from breakfast buffets to gourmet evenings. This means we’re able to practice our skills in a professional kitchen and front of house environment, and prepare ourselves for the industry.
