A Cyber Security Technician supports the security of an organisations IT infrastructure including its devices and network, mainly working under supervision. In summary, in addition to key workplace skills, the role may involve:

I chose to study at BTC because of the excellent computing and IT facilities and, of the local colleges in the area, it seemed able to provide the best experience. My confidence has definitely developed during my time at the College. Interacting with new people and in a new environment has helped me come out of my comfort zone and progress personally.
