This course is designed for those who have an interest in or are already employed within the field of engineering maintenance.
Learners will study the basic principles of engineering systems, machinery and their maintenance and modification. Learners will cover aspects of both electrical and mechanical engineering following a practical based course that will equip learners with the hands on skills and technical knowledge required for a maintenance engineer in a wide variety of fields.
As far as possible the course is practically based and will be covering modules in a variety of areas, which will lead to learners gaining experience in, amongst other things:
Assessment is by a combination of practical assignments and online multiple choice exams.
This qualification will help to progress a career within the engineering industry as a maintenance or systems engineer.
