If you are looking for a career in the food manufacturing industry or already work in the sector, an Apprenticeship is a hands-on work-based route. The food industry is diverse and roles range from agronomy and food production through to buying, product development, marketing and commercial sales. There are many associated roles such as financial, human resources, laboratory based, nutrition and health or sensory analysis.

You will be assessed by written coursework, practical assessments, presentations and demonstrations, employer feedback, portfolio and examination.Assessments will normally be in the workplace however any topics studied at College will be assessed in a classroom environment.
You could progress to the Level 3 Apprenticeship or a full-time Level 3 qualification at the College, or gain employment in a suitable junior management role.
