Course Overview

This online course is open to anyone interested in learning more about basic principles of garden design with a view to making changes in their own garden or as a taster before taking the Intermediate Garden Design course or the accredited RHS Level 2 & 3 Horticulture courses.

This is a new course offered following some learner feedback. It is delivered by a qualified garden designer on our staff.

This course considers the underlying principles of garden design. It is a key element in the garden design process and during the course you will learn about the range of principles which make garden design work. It is designed to give you an understanding of the basics before moving on to actual design.

Assessment Methods

This is a non accredited course and includes no formal assessments.

Progression Options

There is the opportunity to progress to the practical Intermediate Garden Design course later in the year.

We also run a number of Horticulture courses including a City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Horticulture as well as part-time RHS accredited courses in Horticulture at levels 2 & 3.

Spotlight
