Learn how to place and arrange your sugar flowers to a professional standard.
This course is run by an experienced sugarcraft tutor and professional wedding cake designer, andthecost includes the cutters, tape and tools you will need to carry on at home.
The course is suitable for those with some experience of making sugarcraft flowers and cake decoration techniques looking to extend their skills further.
Over the 11 weeks course you will create two displays of sugar flowers, the first being Moth Orchids and second an intricate open Peony both suitable to adorn a celebration cake.
Learners will need to provide a block of dry oasis or cake dummy, a deep box with lid and some packing materials to safely transport your developing sugarcraft flowers. Learners will also need to provide Squires Kitchen florist paste to make the flowers from but the cutters, wires and tape required will be provided. Please note there is no session on Tuesday1 and 8 October.
The tutor will provide demonstrations and feedback to ensure you know how to accomplish each stage of the process and give you ample time in which to do it.

This course is suitable for those who have some previous experience of sugarcraft with a continuing enthusiasm to learn how to decorate cakes with a range of intricate flowers with finesse.
I found the entire experience of studying my Level 2 course really rewarding, that I decided to further my knowledge by completing a Level 3 course. I’m continually learning new skills and it’s really helping my professional development in the workplace.
