Course Overview

This course is intended for learners who are currently working or looking to work in a nuclear related industry. It will provide you with the underpinning knowledge of nuclear safety behaviours on site. It can be delivered via Microsoft Teams /Zoom or as face to face delivery. The course content is adaptable and can be delivered online or as a one day or two day classroom course dependent on delivery style required. Course contents include nuclear safety behaviours, why nuclear is special, nuclear disasters, waste transportation, safety culture, and safety messages.

Assessment Methods

All candidates will receive a College attendance certificate listing the contents of the course.

Attendance Requirements The two-day course is suitable for on-site management teams, and the one-day course for support workers. The course can take place at the National College for Nuclear (NCfN) Southern Hub in Cannington, Somerset, or at your premises. It comprises classroom delivery with interactive discussions and practical scenarios.
