This course is for you if you are looking to start or develop their career in civil engineering. The Apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to gain an internationally recognised qualifications whilst gaining work experience in the industry. The course helps to develop a broad understanding of the whole construction industry and uses realistic scenarios to help you apply this knowledge.

Assessment Methods

Some of the units are externally assessed by the awarding body but most of the course is assessed through a series of internally set assignments involving a combination of scenario-based tasks linked to project work, practical exercises, timed tasks, individual study and presentations.

Progression Options

This course provides the ideal foundation for applying for Higher Education courses, and provides the opportunity for a wide range of careers including civil engineering, quantity surveying, site engineering, site management and structural engineering.
