You need to be employed to start an Apprenticeship. Please visit our vacancy page or if you have an employer, please ensure you add full contact details of your employer within your application. If you are unable to secure employment, you could enrol on a full-time study programme and transfer to an Apprenticeship at a later date. Please apply for a full-time course as your second option.
This flexible programme offers the opportunity to be involved in planning learning activities in your workplace and complete a paediatric first aid course.

The College has excellent relationships with schools in the area and provide a supportive learning environment. The teaching staff and assessors have recent, relevant workplace
experience and enjoy the opportunity to nurture new practitioners.
There are no written exams for the apprenticeships, instead you build a portfolio which includes coursework and practical assessments from your workplace. You may be required to sit exams for Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT if they do not already have these.
On successful completion of the Apprenticeship you could find permanent employment in early years settings.

I didn’t know anyone when I started but quickly make new friendships and have gained in confidence. The work experience helped with that, as well as the staff being really supportive.
