This subject is part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
This subjects integrates both physical and human geography, and ensure you acquire elements of both scientific and socio-economic methodologies. It embodies global and international awareness in several distinct ways, and examines key global issues, such as poverty, sustainability, and climate change. You will consider examples and detailed case studies at a variety of scales, from local to regional, national and international.
Assessment Methods
You will be assessed through written examinations and assignments.
Entry Requirements
You need at least six GCSEs in the 6 to 9 range in a breadth of subjects including English, Maths and Science, and we recommend you have grades 9 to 7 in the subjects you wish to study at Higher Level. As a recommendation, it is advantageous to gain a grade 6 in geography at GCSE.
