Important Information regarding home testing
Thank you all for the support that you have given the Covid testing centres so far, everyone has really embraced regular testing which is helping to keep our college open and safe.
Whilst testing is voluntary, we would strongly encourage you to participate to help support us in keeping our community safe and well.
If you have any questions regarding testing, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions below. If you are unable to find an answer to your question, please ask your personal tutor in the first instance.

Do I have to have a test before coming into College?
Testing is voluntary, however, we would encourage you to participate to help support us in keeping our community safe and well.
How often should I test myself?
Please complete your test twice a week, three to four days apart, prior to coming into College.

If you have a positive result please do not attend College and email covid19@btc.ac.uk
When should I complete my test during term time?
Please complete your test in the morning, before coming into College, don’t forget you need half an hour to complete the test.
Please undertake your test twice a week, three to four days apart and ensure you log your results using the following links:

If you have a positive result you need to tell us by emailing covid19@btc.ac.uk
Do you need to know the result of my test?
Yes please. After completing each test, please record your result using this form, even if it is negative.
Please let the Covid team know of any positive result by emailing covid19@btc.ac.uk
If I have a positive test result what should I do?
If you test positive, even if you do not have symptoms, please do not attend College.

I live with someone who has tested positive what should I do?
Please ensure you test with LFDs daily, for 10 days, as a precaution.
I have been in close contact with someone at college who has tested positive, what should I do?
Please ensure you test with LFDs daily for 10 days as a precaution.
If I have symptoms should I attend College?
No. If you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms, please do not attend College. Please take a test prior to attending College whilst you are displaying any symptoms.
