There are few restrictions on what the bursary can be used for. However, we anticipate BTC students may need help funding the cost of musical instruments or music lessons in order to progress with their studies, or travel to music events or interviews and auditions.

The Bursary is not necessarily linked to household income, although applicants who demonstrate financial hardship which may be impacting on their ability to progress in their studies may be prioritised.
Terms and Conditions
The awarding panel will meet each month to discuss all applicants and decide which students will become recipients of the Taunton Maids Bursary. The first panel meeting will be held during the second half of the autumn term.
If you are awarded a grant the College will monitor your progress and attendance on your course. You will be expected to provide an evaluation statement on how receiving your grant has been of benefit to you and how it has positively impacted on your studies.
