The Quantock Restaurant is run by our Hospitality and Catering students – working towards various levels of qualifications.
We provide our students with an excellent foundation of skills and knowledge which can be transferred to any type of hospitality employer. All hospitality students complete work placements as part of the full-time course and we have many exceptional industry links with prestigious organisations; such as Claridge’s, The Ritz, Browns Mayfair, The Fat Duck Group, Babington House and Gidleigh Park.
Diners have the chance to savour mouth-watering dishes made using locally-sourced ingredients, brought to you by ambitious young professionals who are committed to service.

My only regret is that I haven’t tried here sooner! The menu had a lovely creative selection, the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. We all had a great evening, thank-you. (The coffee brûlée was the best I have ever tasted!)
It was also lovely to see a college offering a program to train students to be ready for their chosen profession in industry and it actually feeling real and such a high standard being achieved.
Had a lovely three course meal , service excellent and food very tasty and creative. Price outstanding for the quality and type of dining experience you get. I have eaten in many five star restaurants and the food is on par.
The restaurant is smart and modern, with a view of the kitchen if you’re facing the right way. Everyone appeared to be of the same opinion: the food quality, quantity and the way it was served was superb. Everything was ‘home-made’, even little chocolate gems, vanilla ice cream, mince pies (of course) and the various sauces accompanying the different dishes. I can’t wait to return!
