College achieves Super Hub status - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Bridgwater & Taunton College is delighted to have been chosen as an Association of Colleges (AoC) football Super Hub.

The selected network of just 22 colleges from across the country, in partnership with the FA, has been formed to demonstrate the excellence and innovation of the FE sector’s football and futsal offers, and to provide the opportunity to strive for better.

The College will be at the forefront of new initiatives and offers, getting first access to pilot projects and innovation sessions to support in the development of the game, as well as the opportunity to apply for further funding.

Each Super Hub will have opportunity to showcase their strengths within the following areas: Women & Girls, Participation, Performance, Workforce, Community, whilst learning from one another to strive for continuous improvement.

Mason Galloway, Sports Development Manager, said,

“Our selection as a football Super Hub will further enhance the College’s existing football offer to students and the wider community. Together with our brand new 3G sports pitch facility, this partnership with the FA and AoC will provide fantastic opportunities to players that they would not be able to access anywhere else locally.”
