Distance Learning offers students the flexibility of studying a selection of Level 2 and Level 3 courses from home and either online or paper-based, with the support of a specialist tutor.
Once we’ve received your application, we will send out an enrolment form in the post for you to complete and send back to us.
Upon receipt of your completed enrolment form, we will contact you to conduct a short telephone introduction that will enable us to get you started on your chosen course and provide answers to any questions you may have.
You will then be assigned to a tutor and will be ready to receive your student handbook and work materials, online or paper-based.
Please note: You may only complete one course at a time.
For any questions regarding our distance learning courses, please contact the Distance Learning team directly by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning 01823 366612. Our office opening hours are Mon-Thurs 8.30-5pm, Fri 8-4.30pm.
From August 2019, funding decisions for education will become devolved to local government in several counties of England. This transfer of funding from central government to combined authorities has created fundamental changes to areas that we as an education and training provider can operate in.
We regret that we are no longer able to provide Level 2 courses for free, to the following combined authority areas: Greater Manchester, Liverpool City, Cambridge & Peterborough, Tees Valley, West Midlands and the North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA), Greater London Authority (GLA), West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield Combined Authority.
If you are unsure if your post code falls into one of the combined authorities, please email email@example.com and we’ll be able to help you.
