Animal conservation graduate volunteers in Spain - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Bridgwater & Taunton College graduate, Jake Horswell who studied BSc (Hons) Animal Conservation, has secured Erasmus funding to support a primate charity in Madrid, Spain.

Jake will be staying in Madrid for three months, working for a charity called Rainfer. This charity operates a rescue centre for primates. Tasks that Jake will undertake include; cleaning the primates’ habitation, preparing their diet, feeding the primates and helping to improve their environment.

Erasmus+ provides a contribution cost towards studying or working abroad for Higher Education students up to a year after they have graduated. Students can ask questions and receive support for their applications from the Bridgwater & Taunton College Erasmus team.
