Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) is proud to announce that it has been named ‘Training Provider of the Year’ at Müller UK’s first-ever Apprenticeship Conference and Awards Ceremony, held in Manchester on Thursday 12 June.
The event, led by Emma Cox, Head of Early Careers at Müller UK, brought together nearly two hundred apprentices and graduates from across the country to celebrate excellence in learning and development. The prestigious award was presented by Emily Ward, HR Director for Müller Milk and Ingredients.
Representing BTC at the ceremony were Marie Vassalli-Collard, Business and Relationship Manager, and Gracie Cooke, Learning Coach, who proudly accepted the award on behalf of the College.
Head of Business Growth and Customer Insights at BTC, Lucy Hawkins, said,
We truly value the partnership we have with Muller UK and are proud of the work we’ve done together. Thank you again for your continued collaboration and this generous recognition, it means a great deal to us.
This recognition reflects the strength of the collaborative partnership between BTC and Müller UK- built on mutual trust, shared values, and a joint commitment to developing the next generation of talent. Together, the organisations have co-created impactful apprenticeship programmes that blend real-world experience with high-quality, sector-specific training in engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and business operations.
In addition to the College’s success, BTC’s Apprentices were honoured at the event for their outstanding contributions at Müller UK. Sam Hursthouse, a second-year apprentice, received highly commended for the ‘We Care’ award, while the ‘Community Ambassador’ award was jointly awarded to Jack Franklin, who is a first-year apprentice.
BTC is delighted to be recognised in this way and looks forward to continuing to support Müller in building a skilled, sustainable workforce for the future of the dairy industry.
