BTC is proud to announce that Cannington Equestrian Centre has gained approval from the British Horse Society (BHS) to teach and hold exams for Stage 3 training. This a testament to the College’s dedication to equestrian excellence, marked by the comprehensive assessment of the facilities, equipment, and our well-trained horses, which were all acknowledged to be at Stage 3 level.
With this approval, Cannington Equestrian Centre has become the only BHS-Approved Stage 3 Exam Centre in Somerset. This status allows the Centre to host BHS Stage 3 Care and Lunge exams, with plans to extend the offering to include Stage 3 Ride exams in the future. This opens up exciting opportunities to encourage riders from across Somerset and even further afield to the Centre.
The College’s commitment to equestrian training is further underscored by regular Stage 1, 2, and 3 training courses, which are designed to provide comprehensive training to students aiming to excel in their exams. The advantage of training in a familiar environment with well-known horses significantly reduces exam day nerves and apprehension, ensuring a comfortable and confidence-boosting experience for students.
