Team BTC’s Netball team has beaten Yeovil College 89-19 this week.

In the first quarter, BTC started very strong with Hollie (C) gaining 10 interceptions and Rhiannon (GK) gaining 5, stopping the Yeovil attack from scoring with good movement down the court from Rylie (GD) and strong shooting from Ellie (GS) and Alicia (GA) leaving the first quarter end 18-4 in favour of BTC.

We went into the second quarter with a new positional change from Rhiannon (C), Hollie (GD) and Rylie (GK). This allowed more turnovers from Tori (WD) and Hollie (GD) gaining 10 overall. Great feeds from Grace (WA) and Rhiannon (C) and some more exceptional shooting from our reliable shooters made the score 39-8.

Another change going into the third quarter put Hollie at GA and Ellie at C. This allowed some great defence from Rhiannon (GK) and Ellie (C), gaining seven interceptions overall, and sharp shooting from Alicia (GS) meant the quarter ended in 59-13.

In the last quarter, the team went back into their more familiar positions with Ellie back at GS, which allowed them to set a target for 80 goals with turnovers from Tori (WD), Hollie (GD) and Rhiannon (C) and great feeds from Grace (WA), which allowed Team BTC to score 89-19.
