Keeping Skills Alive in the UK : The Importance of Nurturing the Talent of Our Apprentices  - Bridgwater & Taunton College

BTC student Sophie Carter has been successful in securing a Level 3 Garment Maker Apprenticeship with Award-winning British Fashion and Wedding Dress Designer, Sassi Holford. As well as fueling Sophie’s passion for fashion, Sassi Holford recognise the importance of nurturing this local talent.

Victoria Moore, Production Manager at Sassi Holford said;

In a world where so many processes have been exported, we know that if we want to keep couture skills alive here in the UK, we need to pass on our knowledge to the next generation. This is why every year Sassi Holford take on apprentices who work alongside our talented team learning their craft.
