Team BTC fully deserved their 4-0 lead at half time with a ruthless performance in front of goal. The team stuck to the game plan and were rewarded. Defensively, they showed good understanding to hold their line and numerous off sides were given against SGS. The team as a whole provided an attacking threat in possession and worked hard to press, track and recover to deny SGS any meaningful chances. The second half allowed SGS to create a few more chances and Team BTC began to slightly tire after the exertion of the first half. Team BTC opened up a 5-1 lead before conceding two goals in the final 10 minutes. Team BTC held on to record a good victory. Erin Bloomfield scored a hat trick and Meg Robinson scored two well taken goals.

Player of the match:
Erin Bloomfield – who showed a great attitude and work rate to be a constant attacking threat and did so exceptionally well. Her reward was scoring a hat trick against a well organised SGS defence. She also did well defensively to press and recover to make it difficult for SGS to play out from the back. Team mates were aware of the runs she was making and they can also take huge credit for the performance.
