Team BTC trampolinists take home two Gold medals at national competition - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Continuing their streak of success, the Team BTC Trampolining Squad saw victory at The Schools and Colleges National Championships, hosted in Northampton.

Luke Jowett won Gold in the U19 Boys Elite Category, in what can only be described as an exhilarating competition.

Gabrielle McIllvenna also won the gold medal in the Category 1 Novice Disability, in an impressive showing of skill.

Jayme Love came in fourth place in the Category 2 Elite Disability, only narrowly missing the bronze medal.

Our female intermediate team came a credible fourth in the U19 Girls Intermediate Category, standing strong against the competition but also just missing out on the bronze medal.

Maddie Rawles came in tenth place as an individual in the U19 Girls Novice category.

Helen Peregrine-Wheller, Coach for Team BTC Trampolining, said,

What an amazing day to win two gold medals at the Nationals. This is an incredible achievement against so many talented trampolinists. For any student to qualify for the Nationals is outstanding. This is a great way to end another fantastic year – a big well done to all my trampolinists. I am so very proud of your achievements!
