Women’s Football vs St. Brendans

Team BTC 16 – 0 St Brendan’s

Women’s Football took on St. Brendans in the first round of the ECFA Women’s Premier Cup. Team BTC started confidently where within the first five minutes they took the lead with an early goal from Charles. Team BTC piled the pressure on St. Brendan’s throughout the game, pressing high, winning the ball back quickly and being smart and composed on the ball when in possession.

The defence provided us a lot of depth and composure on the ball, the midfield three of Arnold, Mills and Puplet were dominant throughout the game, consistently moving the ball around. The forward three were clever in their attacking runs and ruthless in the final third.

Goals came from Campbell-Farmer x4, Mills x3, Stanmore x3, Charles x2, Arnold x2, McLean x1, Noronha x1.

Player of the Match – Alyssia Campbell-Farmer, who has progressed from our second team into the firsts, scoring five goals on her debut.
