Team BTC Weekly Roundup (22.2.2023) - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Netball 1

Team BTC 49 – 9 Penwith

Netball 1s took on Penwith College. The game started really close but the team worked really well together to move the ball down the court from defence after some fantastic turnovers. Team BTC showed great strength and came away with a brilliant result.

Netball 2

Team BTC 7 – 10 Yeovil

Netball 2s played against Yeovil College. BTC started off well in attack with Tahila Andrews and Emily Pike making some crucial shots at the start of the game. BTC defence was also in full swing preventing Yeovil from taking a lead. However, after a nail-biting last quarter Yeovil took the leading winning the game 10-7. BTC showed lots of improvements and were complimented at the end of the game by Yeovil’s coach.

POTM – Lucy Steele

Basketball

BTC Basketball enjoyed a close contest against Richard Huish College, producing lots of great individual play and team work. The team now need to focus on improving going in to their remaining five games of the season.

Women’s Rugby

Women’s Rugby took on Richard Huish after their defeat against them before half term. The girls have shown massive improvement since then and demonstrated moments of dedication and commitment.
