Team BTC's Netball Team Play Intense Game Against Bath - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Yesterday Team BTC took on Bath college and were determined to stay undefeated following their recent success. BTC started off the match strong, reading Bath’s play well, resulting in many interceptions from both the defence and centre court players. These were capitalised into goals, with Team BTC leading at the end of the first quarter.

During the second quarter we made some great interceptions, again taking them to goal. Baths defence was strong so overhead passes weren’t always a strong option into the attacking D, but BTC persisted and with good triangles around the ‘D’, were still able to get the ball to goal.

In the third quarter the goal scoring fell silent from our team, as players started losing spacial awareness. However, our full court defence was strong and again our players were able to read the play which meant many interceptions from both defence and centre court.

In the last quarter, the whole team put on a lot of pressure which caused Bath to make some mistakes. Our quick transitions enabled us to take the ball down to goal. Our efforts throughout the game payed off, ending the match with a score of 61-22 to BTC.
