UCS College Group is now proud to host the Southern Hub of the National College for Nuclear at Cannington College, making it the primary delivery center for the National College in Somerset.

The National College for Nuclear, Southern Hub provides advanced technical training to thousands of learners across England. Courses range from Level 2 to Level 6 and include T Levels, full-time degrees, and a wide variety of apprenticeships.

Situated in an ideal distance from Europe’s largest infrastructure project, Hinkley Point C, NCfN Southern Hub is a state-of-the-art nuclear training facility which includes:

• A virtual reality environment
• A reactor simulator
• Computer-equipped training rooms
• Recreation and collaboration space

All of NCfN’s training programmes and qualifications are designed to meet the needs of the industry. Whether it’s an entry-level programme for a school leaver, Apprenticeship, professional development course or degree-level qualification, our learners are well-prepared for the workplace. The training is delivered by a professional team with Nuclear industry experience in an environment that simulates the behaviours and cultures expected within the nuclear industry, ensuring our students are work ready and competent to enable them to perform to the highest operational levels.
