College staff, students and the wider community benefit from first class childcare on campus, run by Mama Bear’s Day Nursery in a purpose-built setting.

Mama Bear’s, which is OFSTED registered and rated as ‘Outstanding’, provides 53 places for children under five years old, in a safe and happy environment. This includes free funded hours for all three and four year olds, as well as qualifying two year olds, providing either 15 hours per week during term time or 12 hours per week all year round.

Mama Bear’s is the bridge between home and school, providing a safe, friendly environment where enjoyment and fun are linked with discovery and learning. It benefits from light, airy rooms, an inviting and secure outdoor area, excellent equipment and on-site kitchen.

Opening Times

7.30am – 7pm all year round excluding Bank Holidays and the Christmas period.

There are morning and afternoon sessions from 7.30am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 6pm, plus extended evening hours up to 7pm.
