The Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre has a fully equipped, virtual ward as well as large clinical education spaces. With ongoing support and feedback from University Centre Somerset’s specialist teaching team, use of these facilities enables students to feel more confident and prepared prior to going out on clinical placements. They also help equip students with skills and techniques that are essential to becoming a qualified practitioner.
