This courseis for anyone interested in doing an apprenticeship to become a livestock unit technician on farm. You will focus on all aspects of livestock husbandry. This will cover;
The course allowsyou to gain practical knowledge at work whilst coming to College for one day a week to embed this with other knowledge and skills.
End point assessment to include: o Multiple choice exam. o Practical observation in the workplace by an external assessor. o Professional discussion with an external assessor (underpinned by an ePortolio of evidence).
On completion, you could progress to the Foundation Degree in Agriculture Management or find employment in the industry.
|Course Title||Agriculture (Livestock) Apprenticeship Level 3|
You will need to undertake an initial assessment on your Maths & English ability and obtain a minimum of Level 1, and an appropriate Level 2 qualification in an Agricultural based qualification. Entry will also be subject to a successful interview.
