Have you ever wondered how we managed to land on the Moon? Or why the Eiffel Tower looks the way it does? The answer lies in the incredible field of Engineering – one of the world’s most important professions.
If you’re considering studying Engineering after finishing school, then join us for a taster course designed for you!
Taking place at our Bridgwater Campus, this in-person event is the perfect opportunity to learn about the ins and outs of the latest in engineering and how you can start a career in the field.
Through the six-week programme, you’ll get to work with 3D printing and composites to create your own phone stand and clock, create an electronic circuit, test models in a wind tunnel and much more!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the limited nature of this course, interviews will be conducted to determine candidate suitability. These interviews are due to take place via telephone call, with dates and times to be confirmed.
The course is due to start on the 20 February 2024, and will involve six sessions in total. The last session will be 26 March 2024.

You’ll learn engineering fundamentals in newly refurbished classrooms and workshops – guided every step of the way by highly trained staff, who will provide you with everything you need.
