Course Overview
This course is for those wishing to complete their Stage 2 Teach in the BHS career pathway. The course will cover the assessment criteria of the BHS Stage 2 Teach exam including the planning and delivery of the practical teaching sessions and the stable management lecture, gaining feedback throughout on how you can improve. Assessment Methods
Your progress will be tracked throughout the course and feedback given. We do not offer any formal qualification. For those wishing to access a qualification, you can undertake the BHS Stage 2 Teach exam at any BHS approved exam centre.
Progression Options
Once you have successfully completed the BHS Stage 2 exam you can progress on to the Stage 3 Training.

Spotlight
Throughout the week we have classroom-based theory lessons like stud management, horse fitness and training, equestrian teaching and business. I also ride twice a week at College; I have a lesson improving my riding technique on the flat with Gold Medallist endurance rider Jane McGuiness, and a jumping lesson.
