The course involves: Mandatory Units Group A: •Implement safe access systems in radiation/contamination controlled environment •Contribute to your own development •Access the risks of undertaking radiation-related work activities •Contribute to technical leadership on nuclear decommissioning activities •Manage your own resource •Supervise radiation related work activities •Provide leadership for your team •Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area or responsibility Optional Units Group B: •Allocate and check work in your team •Enable learning through demonstrations and instruction •Enable individual learning through a project •Manage a project Optional Units Group C1 Mechanical •Handover process engineering plant and equipment •Reinstate the work area after completing the maintenance of processes engineering plant and equipment •Deal with variations and defects in mechanical plant and equipment •Diagnose and determine the causes of faults in mechanical plant and equipment Optional Units Group C2 Electrical •Handover process engineering plant and equipment •Reinstate the work area after completing the maintenance of processes engineering plant and equipment •Deal with variations and defects in electrical plant and equipment •Diagnose and determine the causes of faults in electrical plant and equipment Optional Units Group C3 Technical •Hand over process engineering plant and equipment •Reinstate the work area after completing the maintenance of processes engineering plant and equipment •Deal with variations and defects in instrument and control systems •Diagnose and determine the causes of faults in instruments and control systems.
