Course Overview

The ECITB Level 3 Certificate in Nuclear Engineering & Science part time course is ideal if you are currently working within the sector and want to continue your professional development, or your ambition is to enter the nuclear engineering or scientific sectors. This one year part time programme delivered at the National College for Nuclear (Southern Hub) based in Cannington. This new state-of-the-art facility that includes a reactor simulator and virtual reality training environment.
Working with industrial partners such as EDF Energy ensures the training provides a unique experience that develops the skills needed in this high profile, technical and demanding sector. Work experience is an essential element to the programme, expanding your understanding of the sector and working environment.

• Fundamentals of Electrical Science for Nuclear
• Fundamentals of Mechanical Science for Nuclear
