Our superb facilities include the Quantock Restaurant which, following a £1m refurbishment, comprises an outstanding training facility within a full-scale restaurant and commercial kitchen. The restaurant opens to the public all year round, enabling learners to apply their knowledge in a live setting and to acquire teamwork and customer service skills. Through its passion for excellence, BTC has established fantastic links with leading chefs regionally and nationally, resulting in prestigious industry placements for students at locations such as The Castle Hotel in Taunton, The Luttrell Arms in Dunster, The Hand & Flowers in Marlow and The Coach House at Kentisbury Grange. It also regularly hosts masterclasses and guest chef evenings.
BTC can help support with business recovery through training and investing in fresh talent can bring innovation and adaptation.

How else can we help?
Although your business may belong primarily to the food and drink sector, that’s unlikely to be its sole focus – you’ll probably have machinery that needs regular maintenance or repair and staff that need looking after, as well as an accounts department, a delivery function, marketing, general admin, customer service – the list is endless.
Increasing the productivity and efficiency of any of these areas could have a really positive impact on profitability, and an Apprenticeship programme is a really cost-effective way of doing that. Click here to find out more about other Apprenticeships that could benefit your business.
We offer a variety of different training solutions to support you with your business and our team will tailor your training requirements to your business needs.
